Dialogue[]

While exploring to the <direction>, <Explorer> encounters a band of Yanadlings, last met by <previous explorer> in <location>. In what cannot be a coincidence, <Explorer> has stumbled across the exact same group of shamanic rovers as before, led by Retva the Raven shaman. <She/He> cries out, “We have been waiting for you, <Explorer>! Like your people, you must change or die! Climb under my blanket with me and be transformed.” Retva caws out a series of offers. Which one does <Explorer> accept?
  1. I'll burnish your destiny.
(available to Beren, Ayvtu, or Yatakan)
  2. “I'll give you to Raven!”
(not available to Beren, Ayvtu, or Yatakan; not available if you have a Raven shaman in the clan)
  3. “I'll grant you second sight!”
  4. “I'll make you fiercer!”
  5. “I'll sharpen your tongue!”
  6. Do not go under the blanket.

Six Ages: Ride Like the Wind

Consequences[]

Asking to become fiercer seems to increase the explorer's Combat at the expense of their Diplomacy, as well as changing their personality. Their Magic skill will also be tested.

An explorer who refuses to go under the blanket may die on the journey home.

Notes[]

A shaman may fare better under Retva's blanket than a worshiper of the gods.
