Dialogue[]

Redalda returned to our clan with us. A year later, the first of her children, also named Beren, was born. We read auspicious omens in the stars; Redalda showed us equally good ones painted in the clouds. Beren and Redalda lived longer than most, and under their tutelage her clan took on Rider ways, and we learned to harmonize our worship with gods we had once scorned.

We would need this unity, as the darkness that shrouded the world was about to get worse. Much worse.

Consequences[]

Congratulations, you’ve won the game!

Depending on how the ritual went, you may be able to pass a blessing down to your descendants.

Notes[]

The text can vary here a bit depending on the events of the ritual the two newly married heroes attempted. For example, if Beren fled the Chaos monster during A fight against a sea dragon, the first sentence is replaced with the following text:

They tumbled from the Gods War, landing in a bramble near <Redalda's> clan lands. After a few days, Redalda’s sight returned, though dimly at first. For the rest of her life, she would sometimes see things that weren’t there, but at least she had survived.

“I had greater hopes for our participation in the Gods War,” Redalda said, “but it is a minor setback, and I will not allow it to cast a pall over our wedding day.” She returned to our clan with us.

And if Beren was blinded and not fully healed, the art of the victory montage changes slightly to take his bad eye into account.
