The War of Many Suns was a civil war fought in Dara Happa following Yelm's slaying by Orlanth, as his many sons and other pretenders sought to lay claim to his power and the solar throne. Participants included, but is not limited to, the Golden Men, or the Small Suns, Shargash's demon-men from Alkoth, the Blue Sun, maybe Vrimak's Bird Riders of Verapur, and the Nivorans, including the ancestors of the Riders, who had to defend Elmal from those who would diminish him.
Ride Like the Wind[]
If your ancestors fought in the War of Many Suns (a choice you can make in Ride Like the Wind's clan creation) you will be expected to carry on their grudge against Dara Happans and their Wrong Suns, especially the Weak Sun, Yelmalio.
The story tent recounts this as follows:
