Dialogue[]
“ | When <Explorer> and your exploration party travel to the small crater, they discover that a Chaos shrine has grown up from it. The dread face of Wakboth surveys the wilderness, its mouth gaping as if to devour the world. The mere sight of it chills the blood and frightens the horses.

Consequences[]
Destroying the arch will take multiple expeditions. Successfully hacking away at it may lead to minor casualties, but also a Mood increase. If you persevere, a band of wandering Uroxi will seek to reward you; if you lack an Urox worshipper among your leaders, one of them—a man named Wanderhoof—will offer to join you.
If you choose to lie in wait for Chaos minions then some may come and you have a chance of taking them by surprise. Success will raise your clan mood and blunt Chaos' power over the Black Eel valley.
As long as the shrine exists, returning to this location on the map will result in this event.
Notes[]
Returning to the shrine, the text is a bit different:
“ | Returning to the small crater, your explorers find the Chaos shrine still standing. Despite the worries of some clan sages, who thought it might be able to heal wounds like a living thing, the damage you did to it earlier is still visible. | ” |

In the Storm Age, the Small Crater event took place at the same location.
