Vingkot

Vingkot's rune.

Vingkot was a demigod son of Orlanth and the founder of the Vingkotlings, more commonly known as the Rams. He or his children founded many of the various Ram tribes. These include his daughter Infithe Winter, Penene Winter and Vestene Summer. In the distant past, he and his retinue quarraled with many of the early Riders. The Horn of Vingkot is a famous treasure of his.

Ride Like the Wind

When your clan hears about the Daughters of Vingkot, they assume that the three are probably his distant descendants rather than his literal daughters, given that he lived so long ago. At any rate, Redalda is descended from him.

Lights Going Out

Vingkot is, through Redalda, one of the divine ancestors of your royal line. All of the Berenethtelli's kings, sans Beren himself, trace their descent to him. This includes Ulvargar, Vingulf, Vinglanth, Brolarulf, Iverlantho, Venef, and Erenlanth.
