Dialogue[]
“ | A dispute within the royal family distracts your people. Prince Erenlanth has heard that the chieftain of the <Other Clan> clan called him a hothead who can barely lift a sword. He demanded a punitive raid against them. When King Venef urged him to caution, he exploded in a rage. Rather than directly propose his raid to the ring, Erenlanth insists that his father should support him by making the case himself. Venef refuses to do this, saying that the <Other Clan> clan is already within a hair's breath of declaring a feud against your clan.

Consequences[]
If you tell Erenlanth that no raid will occur, his ire may go from his father to the ring. If so, Mood goes down, but at least the conflict is not as powerful or protracted as one between members of the king's household.
If you tell Venef to support his son, knowing that the ring will oppose the raid, then Erenlanth will be filled with pride at his father's support, but be disappointed when the raid is rejected. The ring might feel some shame at this deception.
