Dialogue[]

Kerenna's call to the undead attracts a vampire. Members of the king's guard find it in the royal hall. It kills <number> of them, and badly hurts <ring member>. Kerenna arrives and, after a furious scuffle, slays it. "Humakt tells me that this has gone far enough," she says. "He shall lure no more undead to test us."
  1. Have the king memorialize the slain in the clan hall.
  2. Have the king toast Kerenna in the clan hall.
  3. Have the ring memorialize the slain in the clan hall.
  4. Have the ring toast Kerenna in the clan hall.

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

At the start of the event, a number of Swords are killed and a ring member is wounded. It is also possible for the ring member to be killed.

If you have the king memorialize the slain in the clan hall, the people may blame the king for letting this go on too long, thus lowering Mood. Alternatively, the king may move your people to salute the glorious slain, imagining the welcome they will receive in Orlanthstead. If so, Mood improves.

If you have the king toast Kerenna in the clan hall, the words may ring hollow in light of the disaster. Both their estimation to the people is lowered and Mood goes down.

Another clan aggrieved by a vampire may give you a generous gift for avenging their chieftain.

Notes[]

This event can happen to Kerenna's niece, Korestene, also.
