The Valindlings is a group of Rams venerating the outlaw deity Valind, god of ice and protector of bandits. They worship his glacier and can be found in the Autumn Mountains, and possibly other cold places, but occasionally descend into the Black Eel Valley to harry the people living there. They can be recognized by their snow-white clothing and coloration.
Lights Going Out[]
Valindlings make their first appearance in Lights Going Out.
If you explore the Autumn Mountains, you may receive a variation of the following report:
“ | I am back from the Autumn Mountains. Unless you count talkative snakes or belligerent mountain goats, we found no settled inhabitants there. We did not get far into the mountains before trouble started. Valindlings attacked us. Though they drove us back, we gave as good as we got. They won't be coming to the valley, of that you can be sure. I left one of my explorers dead in the foothills. | ” |

You may also be told the following rumor:
“ | Stories from the north say that by sacrificing captives, worshipers of Valind have managed to summon the Glacier into the valley. The wall of ice continues to advance. I would be happy to see if this threat is true. | ” |
