Dialogue[]
“ | You knew this was coming. You prepared as best as you could. Now the scorpion folk scouting party the Uroxi war band warned you of has been sighted on the edge of your lands. In what spirit do you send your war party to fight them?

Consequences[]
Whichever option you choose, you will have to select who leads the party, and how many Swords and Bows to send.
Presumably, the chance of success here will depend on your prior preparation as well as matching the War leaders attributes to the spirit you send to fight them with.
Selecting with berserk rage will have better odds of success with an Urox worshipper.
Selecting with reverence for the truth of death will have better odds of success with an Humakt worshipper.
Selecting with ruthless stealth will have better odds of success with an Dostal worshipper.
Selecting with the fury of the storm will have better odds of success with an Orlanth worshipper.
Selecting with the heat of the outraged sun will have better odds of success with an Elmal worshipper.
On success, some of your warriors will be injured but your warleader could tell that a great blow had been struck against Chaos that day. This, presumably lowers the threat of chaos in the region.
"<Warleader> hewed them with a doom-soaked sword. The scorpion folk fought like heroes of evil, but having prepared for this moment, we prevailed. Only <number of wounded> of our warriors suffered the wounding stings of their hideous tails. As the smoke from their burned corpses rose into the air, <Warleader> could tell that a great blow against Chaos had been struck that day."
On failure, presumably the main body of the scorpion folk will send a full scale raid on Berenstead later down the line.
