Dialogue[]

An Uroxi war band stops briefly at your citadel. "We can't detour to fight them, but a regiment of scorpion folk muster in another land, readying an attack on Berenstead. You have time to prepare and should make use of it. If you intercept their scouts you may forestall their full raid, dealing Chaos a major blow." Another of them adds, "You might go to the <other clan> and trade for their Horn of Urox, a magical icon that helps against Chaos."

Before turning to your own preparations, how do you respond to the Storm Bulls?

  1. Assist their coming battle with a gift of equipment.
  2. Assist their coming battle with a gift of magic.
  3. Sacrifice to Urox to strengthen them in their coming battle.
  4. "As you advise, we will husband our resources to fight the scorpion folk."
  5. "We'll not delay you any longer."

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

If you assist their coming battle with a gift of magic, you must then choose how much magic to gift them with. The Uroxi remark that they will use the magic in their stomping rites, as they stand before the Chaos horde, departing with all due haste afterwards. You then lose that much magic.

You will then move on to the next part of this chain event.

Notes[]

You will have to manually send a trade party to the other clan, selecting trade for treasures, to trigger the Horn of Urox trade event.

The next part of the event; the scorpion folk attack, occurs about 4-5 seasons later.

See Uroxi Chaos Warning for a similar event.
