Dialogue[]

Consequences[]
If you give them what they ask for, they will thank you and depart. Of course you will lose some Food, but the Mood may also go down, if the clan feels you've been overly generous.
If you offer cattle instead, you must then decide whether to offer the traditional amount for a favor, 20 cows, or twice that, 40. They'll accept the amount that they ask for, reasoning they can sell the cows or slaughter them for food. Mood may drop.
Notes[]
The illustration used depends on the culture of the clan that asks for the cows.
Advice[]
- "They are my wife <Queen>'s kin, and would not ask for food unless they badly needed it." - Venef, if the clan is his wife's birth clan
- "Our stockpiles <are small, but our herds are in a better shape/plentiful. We can get away with being generous>."
- "It's not unusual for a clan to ask for two favors, when it comes to food."
- "A favor is also equivalent to 20 cows. We could repay them that way."
- "Beren sent food to clans without being asked."
- "Clans often exchange food back and forth in the form of a favor."
- "If we don't meet our obligation, they may take it very badly."
- "As long as we exchange favors, we aren't fighting."
- "When did they last give us food?"
- "The people don't want to risk starvation."
