Dialogue[]

An unseasonable storm has left the fields under a thick layer of greasy ice, damaging your already meager crop before it can mature. Priests say this is the work of the frost deity, Valind. He is not a Chaos god, but rather the outlaw kin of Orlanth. This distinction offers little solace to your horrified farmers.
  1. Call on the sun god, Elmal.
  2. Call on spirits.
  3. Propitiate Valind.
  4. Accept the loss, expending no further resources.

Consequences[]

If you call on Elmal, a success will see his light shining on the ice, melting it away before it does too much damage; Mood improves

If you call on spirits and tax them, fire spirits feast on the ice, leaving our crops no worse for wear; Mood improves.
