Talokans are demons from the underworld. They vary greatly in apperance—some are winged, others are insect-like, yet others are twisted versions of mankind—but they all come in hideous, monstrous forms. Their ruler and maker is the Chaos god Nontraya the Taker. He first spawned the Talokans to enact his revange on Ernalda and her household after she spurned his advances. They were unleashed upon the world when Orlanth, who had first banished Nontraya to the underworld, died. In the Chaos Age, Talokans spur on Nontraya's undead armies and support his priests in their endeavors.
