Dialogue[]

The day has arrived for Beren the Swift’s wedding to Redalda, which takes place on her clan lands. As the rite, presided over by her mother and two aunts, begins, the <Ram Killers> and several allied Rider clans attack the ceremony. They charge straight at the wedding party. What do your warriors do?
  1. Take the brunt of the enemy charge.
  2. Fight from a distance, with spells and arrows.
  3. Fight only as much as needed to avoid charges of cowardice.
  4. Switch sides and fight alongside the attackers.
  5. Watch what happens.

Six Ages: Ride Like the Wind

Consequences[]

In any case, you've effectively lost the game already... though you can still make a difference to the fate of the valley Riders as a whole.

If you switch sides or simply watch, Beren will fight against you to protect Redalda, doomed though that may be. In this case, both he and your warleader will die, and the game will end in a few seasons with the event Orgovaltes Arrive

If you take the brunt of the charge, Beren can die for his beloved, and Swift will promise to be as good a husband to Redalda as he was a friend to the Riders of the valley.

If the bride and groom survive, the Riders and Rams have a bright future together--though your clan, sadly, will be forgotten. In this case, the game ends in Loss: Swift Weds Redalda

Notes[]

Just as in Wedding Crashers, the attacker can be someone other than the Ram Killers if you decided to preemptively attack them to avoid their causing trouble.
