This treasure is tied to Hanth's quest to fight the Three Hungers. In addition to helping him succeed, it will help your clan when calling spirits and in all other "vs. Spirits" tests.
Acquisition[]
After Hanth's quest begins in Three Hungers Dream, you can seek information about which clan owns the Staff, and then simply send a caravan to buy it, like you would any other treasure. If you have not done so previously, you can do the same in Little Hunger Bested. If you do have the Snake Staff by the time First Hunger visits, then it may try to steal it from you in First Hunger Removes Staff. Only available in Lights Going Out.
