"Ever since <Chief> became chief, <our lives have become even more bleak/things have gotten steadily worse>. <Our friends the <Allied Clan>s now tell jokes about us.> <The <Other Clan> send curses that bring bad smells and frighten the children.> <Our tribe-mates make fun of <Chief> behind <his/her> back> At home, things are no better. <<He/She> is is fixated on the Wheels, rather than more dangerous foes.> <<He/She> <delays/hesitates> when <he/she> should act.> <In legal cases, <he/she> rules for <his/her> own kin rather than giving impartial justice.> <<He/She> gives preference to the <Other Clan>s over <his/her> own clan.> <The children make fun of <Chief> when <he/she> isn't looking.> <<He/She> is unwilling to try new solutions.> <The lost regalia won't save us, no matter what <he/she> says>. We need a good chief.
  1. Dispute their accusations.
  2. Do nothing.
  3. Remind them of their duty to follow chosen leaders.
  4. Request <Chief>'s resignation.
  5. "Who put you up to this, <Name>?"

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

If you dispute their accusations, the chief may pick them apart until even the leader of the complainers have to acquiesce.

If you remind them of their duty to follow chosen leaders, this is usually enough for them to accept the status quo.
