Consequences[]
At the start of the event, Mood goes down.
If you say, "Practicalities of rule would distract him from his important role as a thinker," then Sereden's followers may recognize this as a dodge. If Sereden is popular enough, Mood falls further.
If you say, "Don't be daft! He talks a lot but never says anything," the people may agree, and Sereden's supporters quiet themselves. If do, Mood improves.
Notes[]
If Sereden is using his elderly portrait by the time this event occurs, a variant illustration is used.
The text about the current ring member depends on who that person is and that their personality is like. If the member is Venef then it says "who never supports any choice conclusively, unless it is a delay."
Advice[]
- "Has he been slandering me?" - <Slandered>, the ring member who Sereden is suggested to replace
- "As king by blood, only I should be chieftain." - Iverlantho
- "He is blind to the danger posed by Wheels." - Wheel-hating ring member
- "The people need a good head-knicking. Verbally, I mean." - Eurmal trickster
- "Action is overrated. I think <Slandered> said that." - If <Slandered> is accused of being indecisive
- "Most of us cite the divine stories when we argue, but Sereden prefers to speak in abstractions."
- "When was the last time you heard him speak against Chaos?"
- "We could use some new thinking around here."
- "We must put these idiots in their place."
- "People like him personally, in part because <Player Clan>s entertain unusual ideas."
- "I can't imagine a worse choice."
