Rogoros, son of Samnal, is the trade god worshiped by the Wheels. He gave up his Fire rune to gain the Trade rune. He wears a cylindrical hat.
In myths the Riders tell, Rogoros is an incompetent fool, in contrast to their own trade goddess, Ekarna. Presumably, the Wheels tell those stories differently.
Ride Like the Wind[]
Rogoros is first mentioned in Ride Like the Wind.
Lore[]
Your clan circle can say the following about Rogoros:
- "[The Wheels] adopted their trade god after the exodus, but <will/do> not admit it."
- "[The Wheels] deny Ekarna, <instead favoring the half-blind trade god, Rogoros/crediting her deeds to Samnal's son>."
- "Wheels do not worship Ekarna. Their trading god is male and wears a cylindrical hat."
Myths & Rituals[]
Rogoros appears as a foil to Ekarna in the myth Ekarna's Four Trades.
Other Stories[]
While the names of Rogoros and his father Samnal are unique to Six Ages, later Glorantha does have the solar pantheon trade god Lokarnos, whose cult mints gold coins called Wheels that are marked with chariot spokes.
