The Ram Killers are a Rider clan in the Black Eel Valley. Ever since their entire clan circle was slaughtered by Rams on their migration south into the valley, and then adopted the last survivor of Elempur after its destruction by Rams, the Ram Killers have hated all Ram People.
Ride Like the Wind[]
One of the clans inside the valley is guaranteed to be the Ram Killers, though they are always known for something else besides. For example, they can also be the Pure Horse Clan. You can ally with the Ram Killers, but if you then ally with a Ram clan, the Ram Killers will be furious and end the alliance. It isn't known if you can talk them out of doing so.
If you have good relations with your Ram neighbors, the Ram Killers will naturally come to dislike you.
You may hear the following about the Ram Killers:
“ | We've learned the <Ram Killers> clan engaged in a year long ritual, which ended with them just attacking the <Ram> clan. The <Ram Killers> were victorious, and gained magical benefits.
|
” |
Sometime later, you may hear the following continuation:
“ | Once again the <Ram Killers> clan engaged in a ritual attack against Rams, hitting the <Ram> clan. Despite their preparation and passion, the <Ram>s drove them off, <deafening them with thunder/drenching them with rain> and <smiting them with lightning/hurling sparkling flints at them>.

- "The <Ram Killer clan> is also known as the Ram Killers. They have been enemies to the Rams since falling prey to a devastating ambush during the exodus."
- "On their way south to settle here, the <Ram Killer clan>s were ambushed by Ram People. The Rams slaughtered their entire circle."
Events[]

- Elempur Ritual
- Horn of Vingkot Offer
- Horn of Vingkot Ultimatum
- Ram Killer Threat

Lights Going Out[]
The Ram Killers are largely absent from the valley in the second game, Lights Going Out. Sometimes this is directly attributed to Brolarulf's great raid, if he happened to attack Riders, the Ram Killers left soon after.
Lore[]
The clan ring may say the following of the Ram Killers:
- "Once we were Riders, but traditionalists, particularly the Ram Killers, have never forgiven us for joining with the Storm people."
