Consequences[]
If you say: "I bring sure death to send Chaos straight to hell," the quester and their company may raise their swords and dispatch of the flying Chaos creatures. If so, Elmal will say, "Such implacable prowess demands reward." However, before he can reward you, the Other Side ripples and you find yourself somewhere else entirely.
If you say: "Let me bear your shield awhile, so you may rest," your quester will take Elmal's place for as long as they can bear it. If they are successful, Elmal will return both younger and healed. Elmal will say you lasted longer than others and deserve a reward. However, before this happens, your quester will be swept away to another part of the Gods War. If you fail, Elmal consoles the Quester, telling them that few can bear his shield. The Quester leads their retinue deeper into the Gods War to prove themself.
