Dialogue[]
“ | <Explorer> enters the citadel of Berenstead, reflected in eternal perfection in the divine realm. There <he/she> sees King Beren in his heyday, having humbled all his rivals. "What tribute do you bring me, outlander?" he asks. "I am no outlander," <Explorer> replies, "but a descendant, with a gift of warning."

Consequences[]
If you say, "All this glory will one day crumple to dust," Beren may take your words to heart and pledge to prepare his people for hardship as well as glory.
If you say "Do not humble your neighbors, but learn from them," then Beren may rebuke you and ask what need the royal clan has of humility? He may still feed you and send you on your way, progressing the event-chain. ALternatively, he will agree, and say that just as he came to understand the Rams, they should understand others as well.
"There will come a time when we value not gold, but hope," functions similarly, but prompts Beren to build ramparts for the future.

Notes[]
If you bring Yatakan to visit Beren, the last sentence will be replaced by the following:
“ | "'Outlander?' You don't recall our sparring practice?" Yatakan replies. Beren smiles but shakes his head. Yatakan sadly continues, "I bring a gift of warning." | ” |
