If you ask her to bless your fields, she will indeed give you an earth fertility blessing.
If you ask Remaining Earth/Balurga to increase the quester's knowledge of farming and herding, then she will do so.
If you ask her to fill your storehouses with food, your clan's storage jars will suddenly be overflowing with food (at least a season's worth).
If you ask her to gift you with a treasure, she will do so, commenting that treasures are dead things and her mound is full of them. She will then give you the Blood Seed treasure.
Balurga will also gift you a significant amount of clan magic.
