Dialogue[]

<Animosity/Ill feelings> between long-standing members of your clan and recent adoptees have reached a <breaking/boiling> point. "The <old blankets/mustache faces> keep to themselves and never tried to fit in here," people say, using <an offensive/a scurrilous> term for the <Riders/Vestantes>. The adoptees <respond/reply> that they are <desperate/anxious> to belong, if only the <old guard/others> will <accept/let> them.
  1. Bring cheer with a feast.
  2. Bring cheer with a kite contest.
  3. Bring troublemakers to heel.
  4. Call harmony spirits.
  5. Leave well enough alone.

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

At the start of the event, Mood may drop.

If you decide to try to bring cheer with a feast, you must choose how much Food to use. A generous amount may see everyone unite again, but of course you'll lose a significant amount of Food.

If you bring cheer with a kite contest, people may grumble that the ring took the matter lightly. <Ring Member> might say that if kite contests always worked, the sky would always be full of them.

If you try to bring the troublemakers to heel, you have the choice of which troublemakers:

  1. Adoptees
  2. Those scorning the adoptees.
  3. Everyone.

If you choose everyone, you may indeed unite everyone... against the ring. If so, Mood drops further.
