Dialogue[]

While exploring the Bearwoods, <Explorer> and <his/her> party catch and roast a couple of blood grouse. The smell draws local worshipers of the outland deity Odayla, who teaches people to hunt by turning them to bears. "You are hunting on our territory. Those birds belong to us," their big shaman says, the threat in his voice unmistakable.
  1. Give them the grouse.
  2. Give them the grouse and some of your magic.
  3. Refuse their demand.
  4. Settle this with a wrestling duel between <Explorer> and their bear shaman.

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

If you ask to settle this with a wrestling duel then their shaman will agree and turn into a bear for the fight. If your explorer wins, the Odayla worshipers will acknowledge your right to hunt on their territory, but only for the duration of this expedition. Dostal will reward you for humbling his rival with a hunting blessing lasting 2-3 years.

Advice[]

  • "A fierce rivalry exists between the hunters of Dostal and those of Odayla Big Bear."
