Dialogue[]
“ | Your shamans and healers inform you that they may have found a way to cure Sereden of the near-death state he has been in since he was <soul-shriven by the dwarves who built Berenstead/set upon by talokans and pumpkinheads in the Gods War>. "No ordinary healing method has worked. Otherwise we will surely lose him. It will cost us magic and tax our relationship with clan spirits."

Consequences[]
If you agree, because hope still lives, light spirits may breathe new life into Sereden, who will immediately start asking cryptic questions again. You lose 1 Magic but gain a Mood increase.
If you agree, because this is an innovative rite, the spirits may also heal Sereden; lose 1 Magic, gain Mood.
If you sacrifice to Chalana Arroy, you must decide how much to sacrifice and whether to risk the integrity of your shrine. Success will cost you a little bit of Magic, but cure Sereden and raise Mood.
Notes[]
This event can happen with Sereden's son, Serestev, also.
