The Last Tablet Plateau is a place far to the north and east of the Black Eel Valley. As the dwelling of Cenala, the Rider god Hyalor's supposed daughter with the elf goddess, Aldrya, it is considered a holy site to some Hyalorings. The plateau was named by Hyalor himself shortly before his passing, as it appeared to him reminiscent of one of his golden tablets. It was here he passed from mortal life and ascended as a god to the Sky Court, but not before consummating with Aldrya so that Cenala could be born into the world. This story is told in the myth Hyalor's Long Ride.
Cenala is inextricably tied to the plateau; the longer she stays away from it, the more the forces of decay act upon her, sapping her agelessness.
