Dialogue[]

People of your clan gather to argue for the elevation of Humakti Death-Dealer <Kerenna/Korestene> to the clan ring. "We need her strength and talent for blood-letting to balance the council's weaker voices." They cite <Noble> as someone who would not be missed if removed from the council.
  1. Promise to put her on the ring.
  2. Promise to make her chieftain.
  3. "She best serves us slaying far-off foes."
  4. "She wishes death to triumph over all."
  5. Do nothing.

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

I you promise to put her on the ring, the people may cheer, raising Mood. However, you're reminded that it's not wise to break a promise made to one chosen by Humakt, the god of oaths.

If you say "She best serves us slaying far-off foes", the people may nod and not wish to waste her lethal expertise. If so, Mood may improve.

Notes[]

Alternate artwork may be used depending on when this happens (and to who).

This event can happen to Korestene even if Kerenna is on the ring.

Advice[]

  • "I may not be irreplicable, but to throw me over for a heartless sphinx of slaughter?" - Noble the people said would not be missed
  • "The blood of kings runs through my veins, entitling me to the chieftainship." - Iverlantho
  • "I have more to accomplish as a chieftain, but perhaps a new advisor would help." - Chief, not Iverlantho
  • "The spirits of our dead will give us magic if we say yes." - Doresa
  • "I may not be irreplacable, but to throw me over for a heartless sphinx of slaughter?" - Noble suggested to be replaced
  • "Our Rider ancestors value ferocity, and who exemplifies that more than <Kerenna/Korestene>?" - if your Rider ancestor virtue was ferocity
  • "Send her to kill a Wheel chieftain." - Wheel-hating ring member
  • "We should have appointed her to the ring, rather than waiting for people to argue for her."
  • "Death sings its soft sanguine song."
  • "Humakt picked up the sword to keep it from Eurmal's irresponsible grasp."
  • "Speak soft words that skirt the point."
