Dialogue[]
“ |
Kerenna announces that it is a propitious time to gain a war blessing from Humakt. To complete it, the king must ceremonially kill a captive. Kerenna says she will supply the prisoner, but Venef must agree to wield the final knife. Venef blanches at her proposal. "All my life I have striven for balance. An act of such extremity would violate my ethos."

Consequences[]
If you try and convince Venef to take part, he may refuse. If so, Kerenna will tell the people about this, who may put the blame on her and the ring for pressuring him into doing it, causing Mood to decrease.
Notes[]
Is likely to happen with Kerenna's niece, Korestene, instead.
The illustration used reflects their ages as well.
