"I answer only to the god of death."

— Kerenna

Kerenna is a notable member of the Berenethtelli royal clan. She is an especially skilled warrior and a devoted follower of Humakt. As such, she is a fervent hunter of the undead wherever she can find it. To her, violence is always a viable option. Kerenna does not hesitate to slay anyone who she considers deserving and may even flaunt the will of her clan's ring to do so, at least if she considers it a part of Humakt's will. Thus, she inspires both admiration and fear from her fellow clan members, though her detractors would claim she is cold and cruel.

As a devotee of Humakt, Kerenna has forsworn marriage and family and, consequently, she has neither husband nor children. However, her niece, Korestene, was also called by Humakt to become one of his death-dealers, and becomes a successor of sorts to Kerenna.
