The Iron Grate is a cursed treasure that gives your leaders a penalty to all skill tests in scenes involving dwarves.
Note that it is worth much less than a typical treasure (only 5 goods instead of 50). In addition, any clan you trade it to will figure out it's cursed, reducing their opinion of yours.
