Dialogue[]

Fear ripples through the clan as word spreads that the world outside the valley has completely died. When you look to the distant horizon, you see that it is gone. Your region, and Berenstead, cannot be far behind. <“I am only surprised that it took this long,” <X> says.> <<Y> draws <his/her> sword. “We must be steadfast in the final battle.”> “By surviving this long,” <Chief> says, “we have won a great victory—even if no one will live to sing of it.” <Z> says that final doom might be as far as a year from now, and will come in the form of <the dissolution of primal matter/defeat from within/Wakboth’s assembled armies/the last gasp of air itself>.
  1. Breathe magic into your temples.
  2. Call kin in other clans back to Berenstead.
  3. Shelter wild horses in your corrals.
  4. Warn allies.
  5. Hunker down.

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

Breathing magic into your temple will require a sacrifice. If successful, will improve mood.

Calling kin back will increase your population, but risks offending neighboring clans.

Sheltering horses can gain you tens of horses, as much as 2 Magic, and raise your Mood. Alternatively, you may only find a few horses and you Mood falls.

Warning allies may actually result in another clan declaring itself your ally as well. Also, though they recognize the futility of the act, your allies may offer you a customary gift of goods as thanks for your warning and reiterate your nature of allies going into the end of the world.

Notes[]

The world will end one year after this event, probably in the manner predicted by advisor Z.
