Heroic Combat refers to interludes during battle which focus on one of your nobles—sometimes a warleader or a healer, but often someone completely random. Success or failure can have a great effect on the tide of battle—and either the focal noble or another clanmate can easily die.
Keep in mind your noble's skills. And remember that magical options tend to cost Clan Magic!
Many scenes only occur with a particular enemy, while others can happen with various foes.
