Dialogue[]
“ | People, especially his fellow hunters, have been saying that Hanth should be chieftain. "I can think of no worse punishment," grumbles Hanth. To this his supporters say, "The best person to hold power is the one who does not seek it!" How does the ring handle this?

Consequences[]
If you agree with <Hanth/Hanvan>, his friends take offense and mumblings in favor of his candidacy grow. "Now look what you've gone and done," says <Hanth/Hanvan>, stomping off into the wildlands.
If you let it be known that Hanth may soon become chieftain, the people will see this as a promise and expect you to follow through.
If you tell the clan that "The king must rule," and its people leans royalist, then they may admit their mistake and agree that while heroes are heroes, kings are kings, putting the matter to rest.
Notes[]
The event may also happen with Hanth's son, Hanvan, instead.
If it happens late enough, an alternate illustration may be used.
