Dialogue[]

While exploring, <explorer> and <his/her> party enter a grove that fills them with a deep serenity. A wolf appears atop a hill overlooking the grove. Without speaking, it indicates that it might grant a blessing, if shown suitable regard.
  1. Drum to its spirit.
  2. Grant it a touch of your magical power.
  3. Offer it a horse.
  4. Sing to it.
  5. Leave the grove.

Consequences[]

If your explorer successfully propitiates the wolf, it will uphold its end of the bargain by protecting your grain stores, which grants a food bounty. It will not physically visit your lands.

Magic seems not to interest the wolf, as it has magical power in abundance. Giving it a horse can work.

Lore[]

"Basikan befriended a wolf. But his descendants scorned it, so it departed into the woods once more." -- possible explorer advice.
