Dialogue[]

Without warning, <quester> is somewhere else—beneath a dragon, wounded or slain in the Gods War, as it plummets earthward. The dragon is as big as your entire valley. Whose aid does <quester> seek?
  1. Elmal Sun Chieftain.
  2. Gamari Horse Mother.
  3. Nyalda Earth Mother.
  4. Zarlen the Wanderer.
  5. Samnal Chariot Maker.
(only available if Wheels aided the ritual)

Six Ages: Ride Like the Wind

Consequences[]

The gods can return your quester to the ritual, but there is a high chance of failure—which will lead to their death.

Notes[]

Samnal can only be called on for aid if you managed to persuade Wheel clans to help. He will always successfully save you, but since you do not worship him yourself, you will owe each Wheel clan that helped a favor.

All other choices are a test of your quester's Magic ability vs the Divine. Two or more points in Ritual Magic last Sacred Time will aid success of choice. The quester will have a better chance of reaching the god they worship, or the god worshiped by the clan chief (if either god is among the options). For gods other than Zarlen, having a temple to the god you call on also helps. And heroes (Ayvtu, Beren the Tall, and Yatakan) also have an increased chance of reaching the god they call on.
