Dialogue[]

While poking through the ruins of Elempur, <Name> and <his/her> fellow explorers find a cache of old imperial luxury goods—glass, sun lenses, gold chain, and beautifully carved bone dice. A Ram army sacked this city long before the rest of the empire encased itself in a dome. Now the ghosts of Elempurite dead appear to demand that you replace the property you are attempting to steal from them.
  1. Convince them they are dead, and can no longer use these things.
  2. Extol your many victories against the hated Ram.
  3. Sing them a soothing song.
  4. Tell them your ancestors died fighting to protect them.
  5. Drop the items and go.

Consequences[]

The claim that your ancestors died fighting to protect them is true if the Rams are your ancestral enemies. Failing to placate the ghosts can lead to them aging your explorer by some number of years.
