Description[]
"Lets us raid further afield, and helps us when we raid"
The Effigy allows you to raid any clan in the valley, rather than only those near you and those you are feuding with.
There is a chance it will crumble into dust after the end of each raid that you launch. Should this happen, the description goes:
“ | At some point the little statue of Orlanth's son Finovan the Raider had melted away like salt in the rain. | ” |
— Six Ages: Lights Going Out |
If you find it while exploring, you may receive the following bit of text:
“ | Although winds are no longer reliable, on a hunch I followed one and found a small carved figure. Judging from its markings and long lightning sword, it represents Orlanth's son Finovan, famous as a raider. I think it will provide magic to guide raids anywhere in the valley, or help us win any raid. | ” |
— Six Ages: Lights Going Out |
Should you still maintain a shrine (or temple?) to Orlanth, the following will be added to the above:
“ | When I visited Orlanth's shrine to give thanks, I got the sense we might find a similar effigy in the future. | ” |
— Six Ages: Lights Going Out |
This event might repeat, in which case the text will skip the part about how the figure was identified as Finovan, and simply say, "It was another effigy of Finovan the Raider."
Acquisition[]
It can be acquired by exploring your clan lands in Lights Going Out after completing the Orlanth and Ernalda ritual.
