Dialogue[]

<Rider> emissaries come to ask if you know the story of <Myth>. If so, they need to learn it, and will forgive a favor you owe them in exchange for its full and true details.
  1. Share it with them.
  2. “We do not know this story.”
  3. Offer cows instead.
  4. Offer goods instead.
  5. “You must discover this truth without us.”

— Six Ages: Ride Like the Wind

Consequences[]

If you know the story, there's little reason not to share it; the other clan will be pleased with you, and as your advisors point out, cows and goods are lost once you give them, but you will still know the story.

Notes[]

Depending on your choices in Clan Creation--if your ancestors were the best magicians during the first clan's split, or perhaps if you helped Erissa sing the Bone Mending Ballad--the <Owed> may have extra respect for your priests.

Neither Rams, who have a completely different mythology, nor Wheels, who consider somewhat different versions accurate, will ask you to repay a favor in this way.
