Dialogue[]
“ | An emissary from the <Owed> clan wants to know about the chieftain of the <Other> clan. “Our chieftain, <X> is about to enter <trade/marriage/ritual cooperation/peace> negotiations with their chieftain, <Y>. To be prepared, we would know more of <Y>’s <temperament/character/personality>. Give us good counsel that results in successful dealings, and we will consider it payment of a favor you owe us.”

Consequences[]
Your advisors may know something about <Y>. See what they have to say before you decide what to do. <Y> may be generous or miserly, honest or full of guile, daring or a coward, pious or not, and the <Owed> may want to know about any of these traits. If only one of your advisors knows something, there's no guarantee that that's what the <Owed> want to know about.
If you give sound advice, the <Owed> will come back telling you that your advice helped them and the favor is paid in full. They may even give an additional gift.
If you tell them you don't know enough to be useful, they will thank you for your honesty and go away, although you'll still owe them a favor. They will like you a little more.
Additionally, if you have a Raven shaman on the council, Raven will reward you with Magic if you decieve the <Owed>. This means that you can get magic if you say that you don't know much about <Y>, even if only one or two of your advisors claim to know anything about them.
Notes[]
A variety of illustration may be used for this event.
