Dialogue[]

Emissaries from the <Other> clan arrive, <gifting you/offering a gift of> <iridescent feathers/spotted cat fur/copper nuggets/imperial coins> worth <number> cows. But they have <really/mostly> visited to <confer about/discuss> pasturage. They are starting to feel the effects of <too much grazing/overgrazing>, and wondered if you were as well. They have driven a small herd that they are willing to sell, since they cannot support all their animals. They are impressed that Busenari restored your overgrazed pastures.
  1. “Perhaps it is time to migrate.”
  2. Ask for the details of the sacred story “Busenari Finds the Light.”
  3. Offer advice on how to deal with overgrazing.
  4. “Yes, things keep getting worse.
  5. Ask for their help in performing the “Busenari Finds the Light” ritual.

Consequences[]

Offering advice tests Herding (a combination skill including Food and probably either Leadership or Diplomacy). If you impress them, they'll give you a small number of herds; otherwise they'll offer to sell them to you for the equivalent amount of goods.

You can learn Busenari's myth and ritual from them, if you don't already know it. However, they'll consider this a favor done or repaid.

Notes[]

Other options may appear for some clans.
