Dialogue[]
“ | Emissaries from the <Clan of Beren the Swift> clan arrive with momentous tidings. Elmal, chief god of your people, visited them in earthly form. He came to collect the golden bones of his dead retainer, Yestal the Herder, which fell to earth with the chunk of fallen sky. In return, he told them to choose a boon. Beren the Swift asked for the ban on marriage with Rams to be lifted. To everyone’s surprise, Elmal told him he had never forbidden such a thing! The curse that drove the offspring of such unions insane was the work of mortals, not gods, he said. The <Clan of Beren the Swift> don’t discuss the negotiations, but you assume that Beren is asking for Redalda’s hand, as your Beren desired before your council denied him permission to do so.

Notes[]
If this event happens, you will lose the game.
This event seems to happen if you keep putting off Beren the Tall when the Beren Marriage Petition event repeats, and may also happen if you outright refuse him, or if he dies early.
Other options may be available to some clans.
