The Eggshell Sun is listed in the myth Elmal Guards the Sunpath as one of the Small Suns that gathered pavements from the Sunpath while Elmal battled Shargash.
It may be connected to, or be the same as, the Emperor Manarlavus, who ordered the construction of a dome over the entire Dara Happan empire. In the myth Tablets of Hyalor, he says that this dome was an egg from which future generations would hatch.
