Dialogue[]
“ | Dwarves arrive in a trade delegation. “We require nutriments,” they say, “and wish to convert a quantity of your ungulate beasts for this purpose. What would you like us to pay you, in exchange for 20 of them?” <The leader took out a small figurine and looked at it and then <Chief>. “Yes, your meat-parents were at the Brass Bazaar. Good, good.”> | ” |

Consequences[]
If your ancestors hate the dwarves, they will be offended if you do anything but tell them you do not wish to trade.
Asking for a blessing is likely to fail.
Asking for a treasure will increase the price of 20 cows to 50.
Asking for the riches of the earth will first give you an estimate for how much their goods are worth. Making a bad trade, as in paying more in cows than you receive in goods, may lead to a Mood decrease.
Notes[]
The line about the Brass Bazaar only appears if you chose that as your earliest Famous Event in Clan Creation.
If you currently have a sinkhole, the text may be different and you may be able to ask to pay the dwarves to fix the sinkhole (needs confirmation).
The dwarves may also sell you the Mostali Mill (also needs confirmation).
