Dialogue[]

A trading party from the Deleskaring clan arrives to make you an offer. <These Orlanthi never joined the Berenethtelli tribe and thus never learned to ride horses. They worship a bear god instead of Dostal the Hunter, and also venerate their namesake hero, Deleskar. They grow food no one else can, mostly a root vegetable called a turnip.>

The traders want 20 cows worth of goods for arrows, a specialty of their clan. Their fletchers can perform a rite to make a quiver full of arrows particularly effective against a clan of your choice.

  1. Agree.
  2. "Let's call it a favor."
  3. Decline.
  4. "Throw in some turnips and it's a deal."

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

If you say, "Throw in some turnips and it's a deal," then the Deleskarings may agree to this. After you've chosen which clan to target, the Deleskarings will come back with the arrows and turnips. Your food reserves will rise, as will your clan's mood, most likely.

The Deleskarings may refuse to supply you with arrows against a clan if it is weaker than yours and you have been raiding it recently. You will then have to choose a different clan.

If you decline, then they may leave a few turnips to preserve good will and then be on their way.
