Dialogue[]

A group of wandering Yinkin worshipers, who you have had positive dealings with in the past, come to you, tormented by grief. "Our god, Yinkin, cat-brother to Orlanth, was slain by Chaos! Krarsht cloaked herself in the Storm God's scent and tore Yinkin apart with crustacean claws. Without our god, our lives mean nothing. Please give us permission to die on your ritual ground, where Yinkin once chased ghosts away."
  1. Allow it.
  2. Allow it, granting them magic to bring to Yinkin in the dead realm.
  3. Refuse.
  4. "You were tricked by Chaos. Yinkin still lives."

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

At the start of the event, Mood goes down.

If you allow it, granting them magic to bring to Yinkin in the dead realm, you must decide how much magic to give. The people may accept that the mission of the Yinkini did not end with their deaths, no less than Orlanth's did, and accept this sacrifice with stoicism. One of you, likely a Humakti, will be the one finish off the leader of their band (Humakti are likely to be chosen because they have formally severed all kinship ties, so there is no risk of kinstrife if they perform the deed). You lose some Magic, but Mood might rise.

Advice[]

  • "How unfair of them, to put this on us." - Venef
  • "That would be the way of cowards!" - Erenlanth
  • "Giving them magic will free us from distracting emotions." - Illuminated (?) Serestev
  • "One of us will have to kill the last of them. That grim honor shall fall to me." - Korestene/Humakt devotee
  • "Only by dying here can they be assured of going to Yinkin's side in the dusty halls of the dead." - Magician
  • "Another god dies."
