Dialogue[]
“ | Your shepherds reel in shock at a horrific vision etched in the poisoned clouds. Voriof, god of boys and sheep minders, dies in the formless mouths of Pocharngo the Gorpgod. From now on your flocks will diminish, and danger will stalk your boys. <<Voriof Devotee>, seeing this, drops dead, gorp spewing from his mouth and ears.>

Consequences[]
Obviously, you will no longer be able to sacrifice to Voriof after this. Any Voriof worshippers in your clan will die; those who were away at the time will die when they return home. No new Voriof worshippers will appear. Your clan's birth rate will drop by around 25%, and your flocks tend to slowly dwindle (though this can be balanced or even reversed via blessings and other means).
If you call to bless your flocks, select your sacrifice. As Voriof dissolves into cosmic cancer, he ensures that sheep will survive here, if not elsewhere; mood may improve.
If Venef or Erenlanth is still a boy, your clan ring may urge you to call on Voriof to bless your boys in order to guard the royal bloodline. If you do call to bless your boys, you will have to choose how much to sacrifice, and, if successful, Voriof will indeed give you a blessing protecting your boys in his last moments, which will temporarily prevent the mentioned decrease in your clan's birth rate. Mood will improve. This blessing will last at least a year before you receive the following message:
“ | The protection Voriof extended to our boys at the time of his death diminished along with his memory. | ” |

Boyhood Reversal is likely to happen soon after.
