Dialogue[]
“ | You recoil in horror as the corrupt sky reveals the shocking vision of your goddess Redalda and her steed, swallowed up by the very road she rides on. The path reveals itself as a malevolent entity, Gorpgod. Yes, Redalda, who was born a human woman, who masterminded the marriage of Riders and Rams, the mother of your royal line, who rode to the sky as a living god after her husband Beren died, has now perished. Grief-stricken by the demise of their goddess, <number> of your horses drop dead on the spot. | ” |

Consequences[]
There are several immediate consequences:
- At the start of the event, you immediately lose 20 or so horses and Mood will drop.
- If you have a sworn Stallion spirit, it will perish along with the goddess. This does not prevent you from acquiring a new one later, however.
- You will no longer be able to sacrifice to Redalda after this, and you will not be able to build, enlarge or repair a shrine to her,
- Your horses will slowly start to die off. This can be slowed down or even completely counteracted with magic, for example by putting clan magic into Pastures during Sacred Time, or through Elmal's Horsefriend blessing.
If you call on your memory of Redalda, you must first choose how much to sacrifice to this endeavor. If successful, Redalda will use her last strength to protect your horses, postponing their die-off for at least several more years. Mood may improve.
If you decide to feel the people’s pain, then they may become encouraged to forever revere Redalda’s deeds and they will carve a new image of her and Beren in the royal hall. Mood will increase.
If you say it's only an illusion sent by Chaos, your people may believe you, which will keep up their mood, at least until they're forced to accept the truth. The other negative effects will remain, however; your advisors will ascribe the horse die-off to "a Chaos trick".
Notes[]
If both Reda and Rodene are alive, this event may be followed by a minor event in which the pair find horse spirits mourning the death of their goddess. They will then persuade the spirits to give your clan an exploration blessing. In addition, Rodene will become more skilled at exploring.
