Dialogue[]

Years, or months, or centuries, pass before <Sole Survivor> sees any other sign of life.

A vast forest of evergreens heaves into view, its trees twisted and stripped but still alive. Amid them stand green elves. They prepare an apparently edible paste from plant matter and fungi. The hunger <Sole Survivor> has long suppressed rises up in <him/her>. <He/She> stumbles toward them, desperate for nourishment.

  1. "All who live must strive as one."
  2. Demand the paste.
  3. Drive them off and eat their concoction.
  4. Offer them the sword.
  5. Leave them be.

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

If you say "All who live must strive as one," and you successfully convince them of your good intentions, the elves will let the Sole Survivor eat some of their paste, strengthening them. In case of failure, however, the elves will deny their permission, and the Sole Survivor will be forced to continue, with their hunger tearing through them.

If you successfully drive them off and eat their concoction, then the Sole Survivor will scatter the elves into their forest and drink deeply of their brew and departing, before they realize who had routed them.

Advice[]

Only your sole survivor will give advice.

  • "All my ramblings have prepared me for this moment of amity."
  • "The other elves died off long ago, but these evergreen ones hang on, even in the dead world."
