Consequences[]
If you say, "I am the Second Son," the foreign hero will deny this--saying that you know nothing of the spider's prophecy--and that you confuse the title for one of power that you try to take for yourself. The two part, the Sole Survivor confused.
If you say, "That is the Second Son," the hero may bask in the glow of the strange being. If so, he reveals himself to be Heort and says he will use this secret to break the back of Chaos. He and the Sole Survivor will travel together for a time before losing track of one another in the dark.
If you say, "You are the Second Son," he may be convinced of this fact. If so, he will reveal himself to be Heort, blood of Orlanth and Vingkot, and destined to break the back of Chaos. As he departs, he will thank the Sole Survivor, remarking that perhaps their aid will be rememebered in the chronicles of his people, who he will name the Heortlings. Alternatively, if you fail to convince Heort, he will wander off, muttering about the contradiction of him both seeking and being the Second Son.
If you say, "We are the Second Son," and fail to convince him, he will say he does not know you and advices you to stay out of his way when next you meet, for that will be when he breaks the back of Chaos.
If you say, "This is a trap, meant to confuse our minds," the Vingkotling king may agree, and reason that he had fallen victim to one of Seseine's tricks or Teghern's lies. The two then depart without knowing what to make of one another.
