Forage for something still growing. Give them your calf. (only available possible if you brought the fattest calf) Hunt for game. "Only by completing my quest can I alleviate your suffering."	”

Consequences

If you give them your calf, they'll weep with joy. Somehow, there'll be enough to feed everyone.

If the Sole Survivor decides to hunt for game, their catch may be enough to, somehow, feed everyone.

Feeding these people, through any means, will ensure the survival, at least for a time, of a people unheard of.
